The relationship between knee-ankle muscle strength and performance tests in young female adults with flexible pes planus

Abstract Background A decrease in muscular activation of the knee and ankle is one primary reasons for pes planus. The muscle strength patients with planus may affect performance tests which consists daily life activities. aim study was to determine relationship between young female adults flexible In addition, we also aimed observe whether severity affects test scores. We carried out a cross-sectional single-center study. measurement flexion-extension, dorsal-plantar flexion, inversion-eversion movements were evaluated manual (MMT) device. timed up go (TUG), 5-repeat sit-and-stand (5STS), 10-m walk (10MWT) used evaluate performance. Results significant difference found only five-repetitive among classified groups considering grade ( p < 0.05).
